Leading the RICS in the production of the formal Guidance Note on the valuation of water requires a diversity and breath of skill, erudition and experience. The team cuts through partisan views in the water industry and has delivered independent advice to the public and private sector, entailing our input in: select committees, demonstration test catchment workshops and conferences regarding methodologies for water valuation, amongst other events.
As a collective - our team has a breadth of technical specialties that allows our clients to maximise the value of their water assets, or where it is a liability, advice on the debasement of risk and vulnerability.
From team members with postgraduate qualification in Land Economics (Cambridge) to members of the RICS Valuation Standards Board the team has advised on values that retain site specificity. This work has its foundations based upon the work of a technical team qualified and experienced in the legal industry, through to experienced hydrologists that have been involved in flood modelling (SHETran) in association with the NERC, aquatic ecology appraisals and independent abstraction licence consent reviews.
